German online course for beginners (A1 & A2)
The Language Learning Institute (SLI) offers an A1 online course for absolute beginners and an A2 course for more advanced students, which can be found on moodle, the online learning platform of the University of Wuppertal. Both courses include accompanying face-to-face coaching units.
Students can choose both courses as a Preparatory German language course and complete them within one semester.
FAQ German online course for beginners
This course is aimed at students enrolled at the University of Wuppertal who have little or no knowledge of German.
The online courses A1 and A2 run for a period of 9 weeks each (every module requires about 14 hours a week of self-organised learning). The course includes accompanying coaching units of 90 minutes which take place every week. Every course therefore comprises approximately 144 teaching units.
For students who only want to participate in the online course A1 the course runs for 12 weeks including accompanying coaching units of 60 minutes per week.
The course fee is 350 €. Students who participate in both courses A1 and A2 receive a discount and pay 500 €.
International guest students (Erasmus students and visiting students of other partner universities) pay 300 € for one semester.
